Project 365:
This is a simple project I'm undertaking with a few friends. 1 picture per day to document an entire year. We'll see if I can keep up with it. I'm a bit hampered, as I can't take a camera to work due to security restrictions; but I'll get by somehow.
11/14: I'm attending the Aerospace Design Expo/Integrated Configuration Management Conf. this week. This is the North American Eagle land speed car. Its a converted F-104 designed to go after the land speed record. I talked to the owners and mechanics for well over an hour about the engineering considerations involved. This car makes the first use of magnetic eddy-current resistance braking.
Totally gave me a chubby. As Holly would say "Its Engineer Porn". Heh.
